One More For the Day That Would Not Die
Interviews. I don't care if I'm giving them or receiving, I always feel like a total ass right after.

But luckily there are memes :p Which are fun and think-y without straining the brain.

Snagged from [info]spastic_visions:

Name a character in one of my fandoms and I'll tell you three (or more) things about them from my personal canon.

Doyle :D Oh, I haven't had an opportunity to talk about him in ages!

1) Doyle was shocked for the first few moments he believed Angel and Cordelia were sleeping together, that time he showed up at Angel's place and Angel and Cordelia were running around in their robes. The next few he was hurt and disappointed. Then, for like a second, he was hopeful, imagining a threesome. Finally, he was back to diappointed when it turned out nothing had happened ;p

2) Doyle was never quite sure what Angel really thought of him. He wasn't sure a demon's feelings could be trusted - his included. Which was what contributed a lot to his failed marriage with Harry.

3) Doyle was jealous of Phantom Dennis. A lot. But now and then he thought the two of them might hit it off if he could ever step foot inside Cordelia's apartment without feeling menaced. Phanton Dennis was jealous of him too.

Um, Ianto. Torchwood.

I'm new to Torchwood... and have only seen Season 1 (I've just gotten spoilers for Season 2) but from what I know right now...

1) Ianto was not (initially) aiming at Owen's shoulder in Out of Time. He had to shift his stance at the final moment. Ianto wouldn't normally shoot another human being, much less a member of his own team, but the things he would do for Jack - without even thinking about them - aren't all that normal and sometimes scare the shit out of him.

2) Ianto isn't sure how close he came to considering Lisa's offers to "upgrade" him in Cyberwoman... And he isn't always certain he's happy that the others pulled him back.

3) Ianto knows every vault and every cell in Torchwood 3. He knows them better than Jack.

Hey you. :)

NCIS - Tony. ;)

Hey :D How are you doing, dear?

Tony - ooh, my favorite :)

Let's see...

1) It isn't a coincedence that Kate showed up near the anniversary of Tony's second year on the team and Tony stuck around. In Peoria and Pittsburg and other places, Tony started getting the itch to leave right around 2 years because that's generally when people started seeing through his overgrown fratboy act and stopped underestimating him. Kate's constant veering from exasperated disaproval to grudging respect helped keep Tony comfortable until he'd gotten past the two year mark and out of the habit of running at the first sign of consistency.

2) Tony and Ziva were seeing one another between Hiatus and Shalom - Director David's spy photos cannot lie. Tony called it off after Ziva went to Gibbs for help, even though she claimed it was to protect Tony from scrutiny by the FBI. The original plan with Jeanne hadn't been for him to become so personally involved, but after Ziva Tony felt reckless and stepped up his game.

2a) Tony was not secretly seeing Jenny, though he found it amusing to consider the possibility. Tony was, in fact, equal parts flattered and insulted by the director's sudden affection for him. He enjoyed their friendship, but he knew not to trust it - not knowing how much, on her part, was based on her desire to keep him motivated in the hunt for La Grenouille.

3) Tony totally gave McGee bum advice on vying for the Baghdad assignment so he could keep Tim at home and safe :p He really likes McGee (and that's not just the slasher in me talking!) - more than McGee knows or probably would ever believe. McGee is the only male friend that Tony has besides his old college buddies and some acquaintances from police forces Tony's served on. Those guys can relate to the skirt-chasing, wise-cracking testosterone-laden side of Tony (which began, mostly, as an overcompensation for those sailor suits and the canopy bed his mother inflicted upon him) but they can't relate to the geeky, movie-loving, mystery-solving side of Tony.

Hi. *hugs* I'm ok. Had some arguments with my best friend, made up, argued again etc. It was draining but... we're ok. We're more like sibs that way.

Hee. Tony. *pets him*

1) Agreed. I think she played a big role in his life. I still miss her sometimes.

2) Heh heh. I admit, I'm ok with Ziva, but only just. I don't feel any passion for her character. *shrugs*

2a) Ha! True true true. He's a smart boy, our Tony.

3) Yeah. With Tim, Tony just can't help being the annoying older brother. *g* He does care, and they're so cute together, slashily-talking or otherwise.

*g*
