objects are less random than they may appear
This is sort of a crazy, catch-up post as I haven't posted in some days and a lot has happened in the meantime.

First, the fannish things, because they are more easily discussed:

WARNING: Spoilers behind every cut, including those for the movie Deception, Supernatural episodes 3x13 and 3x14, NCIS Season 5, and all of Torchwood.

1) My dearest Ewan.

Ewan McGregor. One of my truest loves. I maintain that I would listen to the man reading a grocery list - even pay to do so if the opportunity arose - and I have watched him portray everything from a trombone-playing plant worker to an indecently exposed rock star with a cocaine habit and too much eyeliner.

All that being said... (Spoilers for Deception Ahead )

2) And how about those Winchester boys?

'It's uncanny how you managed to both honor his memory and grossly exploit the manner of his death.' )

3) Meanwhile, my NCIS squee...

...knows no bounds. )

4) And then there's Torchwood.

'I should have known right from the start//that you would go and break my heart...' )

Last, Real Life.

Or the least random bit of this randomness. )

O. M. G. Ha!

I am a total geek for even getting excited about this... and it doesn't matter at all to anyone who isn't into both fandoms...

But I was looking through Sebastian Spence's IMDB profile (for nefarious, naughty-RPS-writing purposes) and realized why he looked so familiar to me! He was on Supernatural! Minus the suit and glasses, in jeans and a leather jacket...

Azazel's son is Donald Strachey's husband :D That is just hilarious to me.

ETA: Apparently, he was also in an episode of Dawson's Creek that Jensen Ackles guest-starred in... And he was on Dark Angel! Charlie! I can't believe I didn't catch that.

Nothing to See Here
Damn, guys. This is such spamm-y nonsense, but... My last post is based on that Good Luck Chuck movie, so I rewatched it tonight and I guess I've always had a little bit of a girl crush on Jessica Alba :p I mean, I was way too into Dark Angel back in the day for that to not have been a little part of it.

And it's absolutely ridiculous, because in RL I'm as straight as they come, I suppose. (Or - well, obviously not because of this Jessica Alba thing as one example ;) And if I actually had a Jessica Alba lookalike in my presence I wouldn't do anything non-straight-y with her.

But I see her on-screen? And I just stare, y'all. I see pictures of her and it's the same thing. She's just so sickeningly pretty. If there's a girl out there for me, and I've totally been off the marker with this going gaga over guys thing (which, yeah, I know I'm not - so still loving the men, however hot Jessica Alba may be in her tiny little t-shirts and big ass shades) she looks like Jessica Alba. Garaunteed.

I just don't understand how straight men and lesbian women don't, like, follow this chick around and throw jewelry at her or something. And how does anyone of the proper persuasion ever tell the girl no? Even with the still-loving-men situation, I don't think I could refuse Jessica Alba anything if she directly asked me for it.

Nuh-uh. Couldn't do it.

[thus ends my random, girl-crush-y spam]

How much do I love our Joss? :D We have Angel: After the Fall to fix us AtS addicts who are still suffering from Wesley Withdrawal. And I recently read an interview with Joss about his new show, Dollhouse, starring Eliza Dushku.

I hate to say it, but occasionally there have been some inspirational bathroom trips. Or if I am at a restaurant with the writers, and they go, and when they come back and have figured it out. I think it's just getting a moment to yourself. Though, we have to stress it's not the act of going to the bathroom...that's not good! That's not what it is.

:D *hearts the Joss*

The new show sounds interesting, too. A tiny bit like The Island... But not :p Okay, that didn't make sense. But Eliza Dushku! Bring in Alexis, Joss, and I will rename one of my babies after you!

(Not really, but I'll think about it reeaally hard. Promise!)

*loves the Weatherly*
Am enjoying my NCIS dvds immensely :) Season 4 rocked. And the dvd cast commentaries? Awesome. Absolutely awesome. Michael Weatherly is a funny guy. Who would have thought back in his oh-so-serious Logan Cale days? :) Plus, he's perfectly slash-friendly :p With his easy admiration of Mark Harmon and the amount of attention he pays Sean Murray's hair and corduroy ;) Also, I can't help but love a man who can comfortably call himself "such a slut" for dialogue referencing :D
